Hi, I’m Allysia.
I’m an artist based in the beautiful Catskill Mountains of New York, where I create original paintings inspired by the beauty that surrounds us every day. Whether it’s the character in a pet or person’s face, the light reflecting through a glass bottle, or the quiet charm of an everyday object, I’m fascinated by the little details that make ordinary moments extraordinary.
I’m especially inspired by the work of illustrator J.C. Leyendecker, whose confident brushwork, expressive lighting, and ability to capture personality continue to influence the way I approach my own paintings. His work reminds me that every subject has a story worth telling.
My goal is to create artwork that invites you to slow down, look a little closer, and find joy in the world around you. Every painting is created by hand with care, curiosity, and a genuine love for the creative process.
When I’m not in the studio, you’ll usually find me sharing my artistic journey through my blog and social media, encouraging others to embrace creativity and remember that art doesn’t have to be perfect to be meaningful.
Thank you for visiting my little corner of the internet. I hope my work brings a little beauty and inspiration into your day.
